Mission
Our mission is to form and support advanced practice providers in freely practicing and promoting the Catholic health care apostolate as embodied in the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services through community, education, and advocacy to advance the Christian ideal of human dignity in health care.
Vision
Our vision is the restoration of the human dignity of every person from conception until natural death, as revealed by the Incarnation of Jesus Christ and reflected in the teachings of the Catholic Church, to the center of health care.
Values
Members accept these minimum guidelines for ethical conduct within the Catholic Advanced Practice Provider Association (CAPPA):
- To contribute to the mission and vision of CAPPA
- To strive to uphold the principles of the Catholic Faith in the science and practice of medicine as embodied in the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
- To support one another in faith, fellowship, and formation.
- To respect opinions as expressed or acted upon by CAPPA’s Board, committees, and membership.
- To promote collaboration, cooperation, and partnership among all our members.
